BREVARD COUNTY -- A man accused of killing his roommates and their 5-year-old daughter has asked a judge to throw out his confession.

Justin Heyne, 27, was charged with three counts of first-degree murder in connection with the shootings two years ago in Brevard County.

His lawyers said his confession should not be allowed at trial because the police threatened him with the harsh penalties if he didn't cooperate.

Heyne plead not guilty to the charges. A judge is expected to rule on the confession later Friday.
