POLK COUNTY -- A veterinarian is now caring for 45 animals seized from a Florida woman's home.
Deputies found 35 dogs, five cats, and five birds in Patricia Cooper's Polk County home.
Investigators said Cooper did not have any recent medical or vaccination paperwork for the animals.
She was charged with various misdemeanor animal neglect charges, including selling animals without proper documentation.
Eligible animals will be put up for adoption.
