Orlando Stops: Red Light Enforcement System

ORLANDO -- The City Beautiful now has 10 new red light cameras protecting its intersections.

City commissioners approved 10 new cameras for the city's most dangerous intersections earlier this year.

The cameras snap pictures of any car that runs the light. After being reviewed by code enforcement, a ticket will be sent by mail.

Violators will face a $125 fine for their first and second offenses. The fine then jumps to $250 for any offenses after that.

In total, there are 10 cameras at seven intersections throughout the city.
