Teen Killed In Rollover Crash On Turnpike

WILDWOOD -- A crash Friday left a Citrus County man dead after troopers said he lost control of his pickup on the Florida Turnpike, near Wildwood.
Troopers said Thomas Dasher, 18, was in the right, northbound lane, when he drifted into the left lane. Dasher reportedly almost sideswiped another vehicle, then over-corrected, causing his pickup to roll over and slam into the guardrail.
Dasher, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from his vehicle, and pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash tied up traffic on the turnpike for several hours.
