SEMINOLE COUNTY -- Part of one road is shutdown after a sinkhole opened up.
The hole, which is over 13 feet deep, appeared Wednesday along Smoke Rise Boulevard in the Sweetwater Oaks Subdivision off of Wekiva Springs Road.
The hole is blocking one of the entrances to the community, and residents there are worried about what could come next.
“Well I mean it's close to my house,” said Anthony Denza. “I'm pretty concerned about it spreading, and hopefully it doesn't spread to my house. (Are you concerned about your neighbors?) Oh every one, everyone involved. We're just lucky enough that no one was driving by and fell into it.”
People trying to get into the subdivision are being diverted to another entrance on the east side.
