WASHINGTON -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission released information Tuesday on recalls of three different products.
Kenmore and Kenmore Elite Coffee Makers
Sears Holdings Corp. has recalled about 145,000 Kenmore and Kenmore Elite coffee makers after receiving a dozen reports of the appliances catching fire.
The coffee makers were sold from August 2007 through April 2008 at Sears and Kmart stores nationwide and online.
If you have one of the coffee makers, you should immediately stop using it and take it to your nearest Sears or Kmart to obtain a free replacement coffee maker.
Taggies Strollin' Along Stroller Activity Bars
About 10,000 stroller toys featuring faces of jungle animals were recalled, because babies can choke on them.
According to the CPSC, the Taggiest Strollin' Along stroller activity bars contain shiny material on a toy elephant's ear can detach, causing a choking hazard if swallowed.
The activity bars were sold at specialty toy stores nationwide and online from February 2007 through July 2008.
You should immediately stop using the stroller toy, and contact International Playthings at (800) 445-8347, or visit intplay.com, for a free replacement toy.
Car Chargers used with Power System Plus 3 Million Candlepower Spotlights
Car chargers that came packaged with about 210,000 Power System Plus 3 Million Candlepower halogen spotlights recalled.
The CPSC said the charger is not compatible with the spotlight's battery, and can overcharge inside your car, posing a fire hazard.
The spotlights were sold at Sears and Kmart stores from October 2007 to June 2008, for about $20.
