LAKE COUNTY -- More and more sinkholes are popping up across Central Florida after Fay’s heavy rains.

One family in Lake County had to leave their home because of a sinkhole.

The hole opened up overnight in the Biscayne Heights community.

Everyone was able to make it out OK. The homeowners in this case said they have insurance to cover the damage.

Meanwhile, part of a road in the Honeybrook subdivision in Melbourne has collapsed, and forced an evacuation.

In Volusia County, a massive sinkhole has closed part of Saxon Boulevard. It will take days to repair the roadway.
