DUNNELLON -- Investigators are calling the death of a 1-year-old boy a tragic accident after he fell into his grandparents’ swimming pool.

Elijah Diodao was visiting their home on Ibis Court when police said he somehow was able to get into the water unnoticed.

Family members found him after they learned he wasn't in a bedroom.

They did CPR until emergency crews arrived, but it was too late.

Diodao and his parents were in town from North Carolina.
