Additional Information

ORLANDO --  The mother of Caylee Anthony, 2, remains behind bars after a judge denied a motion to have her sky high bond reduced Wednesday.

Casey Anthony's lawyers had been arguing $500,000 was just too excessive. However, an appeals court disagreed.

They said the bond amount is fair since Casey has repeatedly lied to investigators since her arrest on child neglect charges in connection with her daughter's disappearance.

In addition, they said because there is evidence of a murder -- notably by the smell of decomposition in Casey's car -- the bond should stay the way it is.

The office of Jose Baez, Anthony's attorney, said he plans on taking the case to the Supreme Court of Florida.

The State Attorney’s Office is trying to decide if any formal charges will be filed against her.

If that happens, she'll be entitled to another bond hearing in an Orange County court.

Cryptic Call Released Between Casey And Brother

A new cryptic call was released between Casey Anthony and her brother Lee.

The call was made Wednesday, and while no specifics were discussed -- possibly because both knew the call was being recorded -- Lee Anthony did press Casey to see if any information.

"You know, I know there's some people you've referred to in the past, and you know I’m just curious if anything has changed with who I can trust and all those type of things," said Lee.

"Well as far as I'm concerned here, I don't really know on that level. I guess understandably just being out of contact, but um, as far as I'm concerned, nothing has really changed on that level," said Casey.

Lee said he's talked to everyone Casey has mentioned to him, but didn't elaborate on who they were or what they might know.

He did tell Casey he wasn't able to make it to her court hearing Tuesday because he was "working on other stuff.”

Volunteers Effort Waning

The number of volunteers looking for Caylee appears to be dwindling.

Last week, a steady stream of well wishers made their way to information sites, and even helped hand out flyers for days following news of the girl's disappearance.

However, on Wednesday, no one was handing out flyers in the Publix parking lot on Chickasaw Trail, which had been serving as their home base.

The family had also set up a call center sending recorded messages, which was also empty when we checked Wednesday.

Parents Visit Casey Anthony

Meanwhile, Cindy and George Anthony paid a visit to their daughter at the Orange County Jail Wednesday morning.

Just before heading into the video conferencing call, Cindy Anthony told News 13 that there has been entirely too much focus by media and investigators on proving Casey Anthony's guilt or innocence.  She said the family wishes people would focus more on finding Caylee instead.

Cindy Anthony also told reporters that she has been gathering her own clues and that she is very close to figuring out the case.

"I think I put almost everything together last night. And today I am really going to be comparing notes with Lee, comparing notes with other people.  I think I have a good understanding of what's going on," said Cindy.

Cindy Anthony Talks To Larry King

The case of Caylee Anthony's disappearance got more national attention Tuesday night as Cindy appeared on CNN's "Larry King Live."

She said she believes her granddaughter will be found OK.

She also said she is tired of the cloud of suspicion surrounding Caylee's mother, Casey, and the speculation about what may have happened in the case.

"When she (Caylee) was gone for 31 days, didn't you think that's a little nuts?" Larry King asked Cindy.

"No, not really. What's nuts is for people who speculate on things (when) they don't know the whole truth," Cindy replied.

Meanwhile, Casey's parents said they will try again Wednesday to visit her in jail. On Tuesday, Casey had already been transported to court by the time they arrived for a prearranged visit.

Officials said it is standard procedure not to let anyone know about the transport of a prisoner until after it has taken place, for security reasons.

Break-In At Anthony Home

News 13 learned for the first time Tuesday about a break-in at the home of Caylee Anthony's grandparents in June.

George called deputies on June 24, and reported that someone entered his shed and took two gas cans with about $50 worth of gas in them.

It is unknown if the break-in could be related to Caylee's disappearance, but it did happen during the time frame between the last time Caylee's mother saw her, and when she reported her daughter was missing.
