ZELLWOOD -- A woman was killed in a motorcycle accident in Zellwood Thursday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 4:30 a.m. on Round Lake Road.
FHP said Autum Evelyn Djerf, 29, of Groveland, was a passenger on a Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Dion Frank Felske, of Sorrento, when the motorcycle traveled across the road and onto the grass shoulder. The motorcycle struck a tree before overturning and ejecting the driver and passenger onto the shoulder.
Troopers are investigating the crash and charges are pending.
