BOYNTON BEACH -- A Boynton Beach man has won a McDonald's chant contest.
Jason Harper won the most votes in an online contest hosted by McDonald's on MySpace for his remix of the Big Mac chant.
Harper took 47 percent of the more than 12,000 online fan votes. He will now go to Los Angeles on Wednesday to record the song for a national McDonald's advertisement. The commercial will air later this month.
Harper was former quality assurance manager who left his job in January to pursue music full time.
