Additional Information

MELBOURNE -- A man faces charges for allegedly breaking into a fire station.

Police said Gregory Scott broke into the fire station on West Eau Gallie Blvd while fire crews responded to a boat rescue.

A firefighter's fiancée was at the station waiting for the crew to return and saw the man inside the building.

Police are not sure why Scott entered the fire station. Nothing appeared to be missing.

Scott was charged with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

This isn't the only trouble for this particular fire station. On Wednesday, we reported this particular station has been overrun with rats.

Some firefighters have even complained droppings are making them sick.

The Melbourne City Council is expected to decide Tuesday whether to approve funding to move the firefighters into a new temporary building.
