ORLANDO -- David Partin is selling the name of his unborn child and he's selling it for a $100 gas card.
It started as a radio station contest to see how far someone would go for $100.
The baby’s name is slated to be Dixon and Willoughby Partin after WHTQ morning hosts Richard Dixon and J. Willoughby.
Meanwhile, Partin said he would like to see if other corporate namesakes are interested in upping the prize.
“We're just going to keep it rolling,” said Partin. “Might be Wal-Mart. Might be Lockheed Martin. We're just having fun with it."
The couple swears they're 100 percent committed to sticking with the name Dixon and Willoughby, and have agreed to drop the middle name "With Radio's Alan Spector."
Some other people said they would trade free landscaping and outrageous pranks for a $100 gas card.
We'd like to know what you think. Would you sell your child's name? Should anyone be able to? Click here to send us your comments on this story.
