BELLEVIEW -- Marion County deputies are trying to figure out what a would-be robber was thinking.
They said Justin Pintor, 22, first used a piece of wood in an attempt to break a glass door at a Bank of America in Belleview.
When that didn't work, Pintor reportedly grabbed a storm sewer cover and used it to shatter the door.
But since the bank was closed, Pintor discovered there wasn't any cash and he left the building emptyhanded.
A police officer was waiting for him as he left the bank.
Investigators said Pintor just got laid off and told them he has a baby on the way. He has been charged wtih burglary and criminal mischief.
