ORLANDO -- The Florida Highway Patrol is trying to figure out if alcohol may have played a role in a deadly two-car crash Sunday morning on Orange Blossom Trail that killed a Brevard County Air Force Reservist.
Troopers said Oscar Rivera, 22, of Orlando was heading north around 2:30 a.m. near Barley Club Drive when he lost control of his car and ended up hitting a second car.
Both vehicles swerved off the roadway. Rivera's car overturned and hit a utility pole.
The driver of the second car had minor injuries.
Rivera was an U.S. Air Force Reservist assigned to Patrick Air Force Base.
