Central Florida Regional Hospital was cited for security problems after Jennifer Latham allegedly walked in, pretended to be a nurse, and escaped with the newborn.

TALLAHASSEE -- A state agency said the Sanford hospital where a 1-day-old baby was abducted has fixed their security problems.

The Agency for Health Care Administration said state inspectors found Central Florida Regional Hospital has corrected all the deficiencies.

The hospital was cited after Jennifer Latham allegedly walked in, pretended to be a nurse, and escaped with the newborn.

The hospital may still be fined, but the agency did not provide information as to what the punishment might be.

Four days after the abduction, state inspectors went through the hospital and found several security problems which have now apparently been fixed.
