ALTAMONTE SPRINGS -- A Seminole County woman, fighting big fines from code enforcement, learned on Thursday she has two months to clean up her act.

Since Sadie Holmes was chosen by the show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, she's racked up over $15,000 in fines for old cars she keeps on her property.

Holmes collects the cars and other items as part of charity work. However, neighbors complained.

Holmes said she's just trying to do good.

“And that negative energy is not part of my ministry,” said Holmes. “We're about positive things and doing right.”

Holmes has until Aug. 28 to clean up the mess in order to have the board reconsider the fine.
