Son Sues Lawyer Following Triple Shooting
Thursday, June 12, 2008 7:17:11 PM
SANFORD -- The son of a 79-year-old Apopka man, who shot and killed his wife and daughter before taking his own life, is now suing a lawyer he said could have prevented the whole thing.
Investigators said William Wallace committed the shootings in 2007 because he was upset that his children wanted to move his wife to a nursing home in Tennessee.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Wallace’s son has now sued Winter Park lawyer Kathleen Flammia.
The suit alleges that Wallace warned Flammia he would harm his wife is she was moved, and that the lawyer should have pushed for Wallace to be institutionalized.
The suit seeks damages of more than $15,000.
