GRAND ISLAND -- A Lake County mother was arrested Thursday, accused of keeping her three children in a bug-infested home with no electricity or water.
Noelle Wood, 26, was arrested after the children's father told deputies he feared for his kids' safety.
Deputies went to Wood's home on Adams Street, and said they found the children, ages 4, 3 and 1, living in filthy conditions.
Investigators said the house was full of leftover food lying around, much of which was covered in flies.
The children were dirty, according to investigators, and their beds had no sheets or pillows.
Wood was charged with child neglect. The three children were placed in the care of their father.
