The man seen in this photo held up a Washington Mutual Bank on Town Center Boulevard in Hunter's Creek.

ORANGE COUNTY -- Deputies are looking for a man they say robbed an Amscot check cashing store on East Colonial Drive and Alafaya Trail Friday.

They say a tall, thin, dark-skinned suspect came into the business and demanded cash.

He reportedly implied he was in possession of an explosive device.

He fled the building on foot, and no explosives were found.

About a half an hour earlier, a man held up a Washington Mutual Bank on Town Center Boulevard in Hunter's Creek.

The man is described as short and light-skinned. Detectives are trying to determine if he's the same man wanted in several other robberies.

Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office.
