Additional Information

The family of a man critically injured in a car crash with Hulk Hogan's son is lashing out against Hogan and his family.

Hogan's real name is Terry Bollea.

In a written press release, the family of John Graziano said the Bolleas are phonies and two-faced after tapes of jailhouse phone calls were released.

In the calls, Hogan can be heard saying karma may be responsible for Graziano's unconscious state.

In our exclusive video, Nick Bollea is on a jailhouse monitor for the first time and was angry about News 13's cameras being there.

As Nick Bollea talked to his sister, Brooke, Tuesday afternoon, he saw the camera and made a obscene gesture.

The Bollea family did not want to answer any questions as they walked into the jail visitation center, but Graziano's family had plenty to say about the Bolleas' jailhouse phone calls.

In a written statement, the Graziano family said, "These tapes clearly show what the Bolleas said in court was calculated to give the court the impression that Nick deserved a break."

They are talking about a jailhouse phone call between Nick and his father that were made public last week:

Hulk Hogan: Well I don't know what type of person John was, or what he did to get himself in this situation. I know he was pretty aggressive and yelled at people and do stuff. And for some reason God laid some heavy s**t on that kid. I don't know what he was into.

Nick Bollea: He was a negative person.

Hogan: He was what?

Bollea: He was a negative person. Will you work on that reality deal?

Hogan: Yep.

Bollea: Get that lined up so the minute I walk out, wherever I walk out of, it's there, boom.

Hogan: Can you do it while you're on probation?

Bollea: Of course.

Hogan: Do you want to do it with Pink Sneakers or someone else?

Bollea: I want to do it where I'll make the most money.

Hogan: Well, then you need to do it with me, Jason and Eric.

John Graziano's mother, Debbie Graziano, said Terry and Nick Bollea never really cared about her son.

"If Terry Bollea (Hulk Hogan) cared about John Graziano, he wouldn't be blaming his semi-conscious state and his life-long battle to survive as bad karma. If Nick Bollea cared about John Graziano, he wouldn't be describing him as a negative person. These people are the biggest phonies and two-faced individuals that I've ever seen," Debbie Graziano said.

John Graziano's father, Ed Graziano said he can't believe the Bolleas were talking about making money.

"How can these people think of making money as my son lays in bed, fighting for his life on a daily basis. The reason he was put in jail was to think about my son. That's the last thought on his mind," Ed Graziano said.

Nick Bollea's attorney, Kevin Hayslett, said the fact that the phone calls were released is unprecedented. Hayslett said he plans to ask for clarification on whether jailhouse phone calls between a parent and a juvenile are public record or a confidential conversation.

Nick Bollea's mother, Linda Bollea, decided to skip her jailhouse visit with her son after seeing the camera in the room. The Bolleas get three hours a week to talk to their son over a closed-circuit monitor.
