Additional Information

TALLAHASSEE -- The state Attorney General's Office said it wanted to speak to the 5th District Court of Appeals about the case of former NASA astronaut Lisa Nowak. See previous story.

According to Florida Today, Attorney General Bill McCollum's office has filed a request to speak with the Daytona Court, which was considering whether statements Nowak made to police, along with some evidence found in her car, should be allowed at trial.

Nowak was charged with battery and attempted kidnapping for allegedly attacking love rival Colleen Shipman in February 2007, all over astronaut Bill Oefelein, whom both women dated.
