OCALA -- A mother was arrested after she allegedly attacked her 18-year-old son with a meat cleaver.
Investigators said the attack happened because Brenda Hecht, 45, was arguing with her son, whom she said refuses to get a job, and just sits at home watching TV and playing video games.
According to the Ocala Star-Banner, Hecht said she never meant to kill her son, she just "popped him in the head with the wrong thing."
Hecht faces a charge of attempted murder.
Her son was expected to be OK.
