BJ's Employee Lets Confederate Flag Fly
Friday, May 02, 2008 12:07:12 PM
JACKSONVILLE -- There is a fight in Jacksonville over a Confederate flag.
A BJ's store employee will not be allowed to park on store property as long as he flies the flag in the back of his pickup truck.
The BJ's Wholesale chain said the flag falls outside their guidelines for personal expression at work.
Bobby Tillett said he is just showing his pride and loyalty to the confederate flag.
The company asked Tillet to the remove the flag. He refused, so they said if he didn't remove the flag he would have to park elsewhere.
He is now parking a half-mile away and walks to work. Tillet said it is worth it.

Should Tillett be allowed to fly the confederate flag on his truck on company property?
