BUNNELL -- Some Flagler County employees would have to wait a few extra days to find out if they still had a job.

The county was supposed to announce layoffs Monday, but county administrator Craig Coffey said it could be later in the week.

Coffey said it has taken some extra time to get all of the information together.

The county is cutting 38 positions to help deal with a budget shortfall, the economic downturn and increasing expenses.
