JACKSONVILLE -- Linda Lacock said she feels blessed -- even after having her purse stolen.
Lacock grabbed onto the hood of her purse snatcher's car after he grabbed her purse.
When neither would let go, Lacock was dragged out of the WalMart parking lot and across the street, to an apartment complex.
John Welsh heard Lacock scream, and ran out to help her after she fell off the car.
Welsh called an ambulance, then got her a tow truck and convinced a dealership to make her a set of keys for free.
"I had a purpose yesterday, and if that's my purpose from here on out, then that's my purpose," Welsh said.
"He's my guardian angel," Lacock said.
Lacock was in a pretty rough spot. Not only was she without her keys, cash and cell phone after her purse was taken, she also could barely see, since her glasses were also still in her purse.
