1 Dead, 1 Hurt In Motorcycle Crash

PALM BAY -- One person was killed and another critically injured after a motorcycle crash on Dixie Highway Saturday night.

Police told News 13 the pair was on a motorcycle, heading north on the highway, when they were hit by a minivan pulling out of a restaurant, and both thrown from the bike.

The names of the victims were not immediately released.

There was no word if the driver of the minivan would face any charges.

Meanwhile in Orange County, a motorcyclist was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center after colliding with a tow truck.

Orange County Fire Rescue said it got a call Sunday morning about a motorcyclist going about 80 miles an hour on East Colonial Drive when it struck the truck pulling out of a driveway near Lansing Street.
    
The motorcyclist was conscious but had a some serious leg injuries.
