ORLANDO -- Postal workers across the country hoped for the public's help in collecting food for the hungry.
The country's largest food drive, "Stamp Out Hunger," was in its 16th year.
Carriers delivering mail Saturday were expected to pick up nonperishable foods left in sturdy bags by mailboxes.
The Stamp Out Hunger effort has fed millions across the country. In Central Florida, the donations are taken the Second Harvest Food Bank in Orlando.
