DAVENPORT -- A man was indicted by a grand jury on charges of first-degree murder for the death of his girlfriend's 6-month-old son.

Enrique Santos, 24, was arrested April 23 after detectives learned the baby, Elishmael Rodriguez, died from several injuries to his head, neck and torso.

The medical examiner said the injuries were consistent with blunt-force trauma and violent, sudden shaking.

Santos was the only one home when the baby was injured.

The baby's mother, Wanda Rodriguez, left the baby in Santos' care while she went to work.

Detectives said Santos got mad when the baby wouldn't stop crying while he was playing a video game.
