CENTRAL FLORIDA -- Two separate boil water alerts issued in the last week were lifted Saturday for the cities of St. Cloud, in Osceola County, and Groveland, in Lake County.
St. Cloud Water Safe
A boil water alert was issued Tuesday in St. Cloud after crews broke a water main.
The city waited to lift the alert until test results showed the water was safe to drink.
Groveland Water Supply Back In Use
The area of Groveland was under a separate boil water alert after the water supply cut off Thursday.
Tests have come back indicating the water was safe to use again.
Officials said excessive water use led to the shutdown of the area's water supply.
