Firefighters responding to a house fire in Orlando.

ORLANDO -- The Orange County fire marshal said it still had to determine what started a house fire on Old Dominion Road Friday night.

The homeowner said she went to visit a neighbor for just a little while, and when she came back, she heard a smoke detector sounding.

"I went in the house, and I heard it, and I saw smoke up on the ceiling and everything," the woman said. "I went back there, and the bed was on fire. I don't know. The only thing I can figure out is that my husband has a bed that, you know, is electric, that lifts itself up, and maybe it had a short on it."

Everyone got out of the house safely, but firefighters said the house suffered significant damage.

The homeowner and her son stayed with relatives overnight.
