OCALA -- The hunt is on for a man police believe gunned down his wife outside of a restaurant in Ocala.
Officers said that around 11 p.m. Sunday, a woman, 39, and a 32-year-old man were sitting in a jeep at the Chili's on Southwest 36th Avenue when they were approached by her estranged husband.
Detectives identify that man as Christopher Ronson, 39. They said Ronson started shooting and then took off.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was rushed to a hospital in Gainesville in critical condition. Now, they are searching for Ronson.
Authorities said Ronson might be driving a silver colored, 2001 Pontiac Sunfire with a Michigan tag AJA8517
They said Ronson is white, about 6 feet tall, 240 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes.
