SANFORD -- A Sanford school bus stop will be moved, thanks to a report by Central Florida News 13.
On Thursday, News 13 reported about a school bus stop in Sanford that had some parents concerned because kids were being dropped off in the middle of a construction zone.
The person in charge of bus routes for Seminole County schools went to the Seminole Pointe Apartments off of Monroe Road in Sanford to check out the situation.
She said she is now working to make a change so that elementary school students are dropped off in the same spot where they are picked up in the morning.
Construction crews tell her part of the sidewalk will not be torn up at any point during construction.
School transportation officials said it could take between seven to 10 business days for any changes to be made officially.
