PORT ORANGE -- A mother and son received a rude awakening Monday night, when several screaming men tore down their chain-link fence, and shouted death threats.
Karen Rozwadowski and her son admitted they and their neighbor have been going through a property line dispute.
The Rozwadowskis had a fence built to keep dogs inside their property, but the single mother claimed about nine angry men began tearing down the fence, screaming obscenities and making threats on their lives.
Rozwadowski's son called 911, and the shouting match was recorded.
"He threatened that if he saw me out there, that they would kill me," Karen Rozwadowski said. "That 'they would kill me,' were his exact words."
Both mother and son recognized one of the men as her own neighbor.
A sheriff's deputy charging affidavit identified one of the men as John Fuit, accused in the affidavit of criminal mischief.
Fuit told News 13 over the phone he was never there the night the fence was torn down.
