Additional Information

ORLANDO -- A teacher accused of making a student use the bathroom in a lunch box in the classroom has not resigned, News 13 learned Monday.

The Orange County School district remained tight-lipped about the investigation at Meadowbrook Middle School.

A spokesperson for the school said there was a chance Jameeka Chambers submitted her resignation Monday morning. News 13 has since learned Chambers has not actually resigned.

That meant the investigation was still open, and the earliest that information could be available would be at an upcoming school board meeting in two weeks.

Chambers has been on administrative leave since last Monday. See previous story.
