Local 'Idol' Finalist Returns Home

MELBOURNE -- Singer Robbie Carrico returned to Central Florida Saturday after being cut from "American Idol" earlier in the week.
Carrico, 26, was named one of the show's 24 finalists, and won the chance to go to Hollywood and perform on the show. See previous story.
After the votes of viewers were tallied last week, Carrico was cut from the show.
Carrico's flight home landed in Melbourne late Saturday. His friends and family said even though he did not make it to the top, he was still their rock star.
