Former Classmates Memorialize Plane Crash Victim

SANFORD -- In 2007, Gabriella Dechat, 4, was killed when a plane crashed into her Seminole County home.
Now, her former classmates are making sure they never forget their friend.
Students at First United Methodist Preschool in Sanford dedicated a memorial Wednesday. It featured trees, flowers and special butterfly stones the students designed just for Gabriella.
School administrators said students will be in charge of watering the garden every day.
Butterflies were chosen because they represent new life.
