Additional Information

DELAND -- Three 13-year-old DeLand Middle School students, accused of a plot to kill their classmates and themselves, appeared before a judge Saturday.

During their first appearance, the judge ordered the two boys and a girl remain locked up in juvenile detention, at least for now.

Meanwhile, News 13 has learned new details about the alleged murder plot.

Investigators said it appears one of the boys who posted the alleged threat on MySpace planned the massacre as a form of retaliation for being teased at school.

In one of the messages the teen wrote "everyone will pay for what they did to me."

All three are now facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder.
