OSCEOLA COUNTY -- Two Osceola County parents are charged with child neglect in connection with the death of their 3-month-old boy.
Deputies said the child was discovered in a house of filth.
On March 4, deputies went to the home on South Orange Blossom Trail to find the child dead in his crib.
While at the house, deputies found mold and mildew where children slept, along with soiled diapers and clothes lying on the floor with ants and cockroaches.
As a part of the investigation, the parents, Lucio and Cassandra Cervantes-Cruz, both 25, were arrested Wednesday and charged with child neglect.
The couple's four other children, ages 1 to 4, are now in custody of the Department of Children and Families.
