DELAND -- A DeLand woman has been arrested on fraud charges after the state said she sold sick dogs and cats to unwitting customers.

Office of Agricultural Law Enforcement officials said Cheryl Tyler, 50, sold cats and dogs on her Web site.

The office said Tyler used aliases and altered health certificates to sell animals that were gravely ill

Investigators said one customer was forced to euthanize their sick cat, and another had a health certificate that said the cat they bought was a different gender.

Tyler has been charged with several felonies including grand theft, and identity theft.
