Justin Shuman, 35, remains locked up on charges of exposing himself to a child in the middle of a crowded store.

OCALA -- A Marion County man remains locked up on charges of exposing himself to a child in the middle of a crowded store.

Police said Justin Shuman, 35, went to the children’s section of a Bealls Outlet store and then exposed himself to a 10-year-old girl.

Shuman told investigators what he did was stupid, but said he chose the children's section because they wouldn't understand what he was doing.

He's now charged with lewd and lascivious behavior on a victim less than 12 years old and indecent exposure.

Shuman is being held on a $16,000 bond at the Marion County Jail.
