CAPE CANAVERAL -- The FBI says its investigation continues to see if foul play was involved in the death of a Central Florida woman on a cruise ship.
Jennifer Ellis-Seitz, 36, plunged 15 stories from the deck of the Norwegian Pearl Dec. 25 while the ship was off the coast of Cancun, Mexico.
The woman's family said she had "previous emotional issues" and believes she may have jumped overboard.
However, they said there were no outward signs of distress while on the seven-night cruise from Miami.
Ellis-Seitz's husband waited several hours to report the Winter Haven woman missing. But investigators have said they do not believe he is a suspect, and that it was not unusual for her to walk the ship late at night if she couldn't sleep.
