MIAMI -- Over 100 people were arrested, accused of being in the country illegally.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office (ICE) announced the arrests Tuesday.
It was all part of a five day operation in Orlando, Tampa, West Palm Beach, Miami and Broward County.
During the operation, ICE officers arrested 81 immigration fugitives who they said went into hiding to avoid being deported.
Of the 110 arrested, 24 have criminal histories.
Seven people were arrested in the Orlando area, with another 11 in Tampa.
There were 47 people arrested in the Miami-Dade area.
