KISSIMMEE -- Four different families are forced out days before Christmas after fires tear through their homes.
In Kissimmee, a fire engulfed much of a home on Sunset Drive Tuesday.
Two adults and four children were able to escape without any harm.
One of the teens is being called a hero because of his efforts to make sure everyone got out of the house.
The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Meanwhile, a fire ripped through a condo in Orange County.
It happened at the Valencia Park Condo Community in Park Tree Trail.
A family of four that lived in one of the condos will now have to find a new place to live. No one lived in the second apartment, which was destroyed.
The fire marshal’s office is investigating.
Two more families were also forced out of their homes in Brevard County Tuesday.
One fire happened inside the attic of a house of Levitt Parkway in Rockledge.
The three adults that lived in the house are staying at a nearby hotel until they can find a new place to stay.
Also, two children, and five adults, including two disabled people, were forced out of their homes after fire ripped through their garage on Wagon Wheel Avenue in Palm Bay.
Three of the family’s dogs were injured in that fire.
