ORLANDO-- George and Cindy Anthony take the national spotlight again Wednesday night.
They were in California to check out a tip about their missing granddaughter, Caylee, and to appear on “Larry King Live.”
Their appearance came as the lawyer for tCaylee's mother, Casey, makes another move in court.
Jose Baez wants surveillance footage from the Florida Mall at the time a picture was taken on Nov. 16.
Baez and family members said the girl in the picture may be Caylee, and they said they need the footage to follow up on the possibility the little girl may still be alive. A subpoena duces tecum has been filed on her behalf.
Baez is also asking for any video the sheriff's office may have of possible sightings of Caylee and more tips from the sheriff's office.
He insists the missing girl is still alive and that Casey is not guilty of murder.
“The only reason I'm here responding is because there’s an insinuation that we don't seem to care about the search for Caylee and nothing could be further from the truth. We have been pressing since day 1 for these tips," Baez said.
Deputies have admitted they are no longer looking for the girl alive, since the evidence points to her being dead.
Baez and prosecutors will be back in court Thursday for a status hearing.
