PALM BAY -- Severe weather swept through parts of Central Florida Sunday, leaving several areas damaged in Osceola and Brevard counties and knocking out power for thousands.
All power was reported to be back up as of Monday morning.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Florida Power and Light worked Sunday evening to restore power to about 340 customers in Port Orange, and about 1,200 customers in Brevard County.
Progress Energy reported more than 1,300 customers without power near DeLeon Springs.
Officials with the utility companies said all power has now been restored.
Possible Tornado In Palm Bay
Emergency dispatchers received reports of a possible tornado that may have touched down in Palm Bay Sunday afternoon.
Dispatchers started getting calls around 3:40 p.m. about a tornado in the area of Emerson Drive and Consumer Street.
The storm caused minor damage to several houses, and knocked down trees.
There were also reports of damage at the Holiday Park subdivision, a community of manufactured homes.
About 14 homes were damaged.
Disney Cruise Ship Passageway Collapses
Severe weather in Port Canaveral caused the main gangway for guests and crew members to get to the Disney Wonder Cruise ship to collapse into the water.
Several guests were on board the ship when the passageway collapsed, but no injuries were reported.
The ship had to be moved to a cargo pier to load the remainder of the guests.
The cruise ship was an hour late pulling out of port Sunday.
Possible Tornado In Northern Osceola County
The National Weather Service said a possible tornado may have touched down in the northern part of Osceola County Sunday.
The damage reports came from U.S. Route 192 and Old Lake Wilson Road, just south of Disney's Animal Kingdom.
Eyewitnesses describing the damage said the wind was so strong, it had to be a twister.
There were no reported injuries, and all power that was knocked out by the storm has been restored.
