Friday, November 21, 2008 10:06:34 PM
ORLANDO -- The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said a man involved in a road rage stabbing that spilled outside a Steak ‘n Shake has died from his injuries.
The altercation started just before 3 a.m. Thursday at the Steak 'n Shake on University Boulevard.
Investigators said it began after Michael Montijo, 24, cut off a female driver in traffic.
The two drivers eventually ended up in the parking lot of the restaurant on University Boulevard near University of Central Florida. Deputies said Montijo pulled out a knife and that’s when Hunter Rosier stepped in front of his female driver and got stabbed.
Rosier was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he died Friday.
Montijo is currently being held without bond. He was previously charged with attempted murder. OCSO said charges against Montijo will be upgraded.
