Additional Information

DELTONA -- A home day care center where a boy was bitten by a dog reopened Tuesday.

Ms. Sherri's Child Care was able to reopen after completing a safety plan.

The plan calls for day care owner Sherri Watson to cover electrical outlets in the home, remove the dog that bit the child, and replace broken toys.

Landon Sage, 4, was bitten by a Labrador-pit bull mix Nov. 11.

The boy is expected to recover. See previous story.

The boy's father has said the day care has been taking care of his son for years, and he will likely return now that it is back open.
