New Lake Superintendent Starts Monday

TAVARES -- The new Lake County superintendent of schools is scheduled to take over in a new beginning for the school board Monday.
Dr. Susan Moxley is taking over for outgoing superintendent Anna Cowin, whose tenure came to an end Friday. See previous story.
Cowin's battles with the school board were very public, as she was accused of putting money into school programs without their permission.
Cowin did, however, lead the district to an "A" grading and improved the county's FCAT standings.
