DAYTONA BEACH -- An art supply business went up in flames Tuesday evening.
The fire started at Top Gallery on Segrave Street around 6:30 p.m.
Smoke and fire shot into the night sky as firefighters were unable to go into the building because of intense dangerous flames.
Firefighters are now trying to figure out what started the fire.
Although no one was hurt, a spokesperson with the Daytona Beach Fire Department said chemicals stored inside the 9,000-square-foot L-shaped building was a challenge.
"There is epoxy. They do epoxy work in there, so there are some chemicals in there. Right now we're just trying to determine, the owner is trying to determine what kind of chemicals. Right now it just looks like epoxy, 55 gallon drums of epoxy," said Lt. Fred Godowa from the Daytona Beach Fire Department.
The fire department spokesman said the business used the epoxy to pour over wood, which was also inside the building.
Firefighters from three different cities helped to fight the fire.
